JASON S. MARTIN
President

Prior to founding Omega Capital in 2013, Mr. Martin was President and Managing Director of Argonaut Private Equity from 2002 to 2012. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Williams Communications Group where he led several strategic investments. Earlier in his career, he was Assistant Vice Chancellor for the Oklahoma higher education system responsible for an endowment and statewide communications network. During his career, Mr. Martin has led investments totaling more than $1.7 billion across more than 50 portfolio companies. He has extensive board experience as chairman and member of audit and compensation committees. He currently serves as a director of Raisbeck Engineering, Inc. He previously served as Chairman of MIRATECH, Inc. (acquired by BP Energy Partners), CareATC, Inc. (acquired by LLR Partners) and Cordys (acquired by OpenText). He is also a board member of Enterprise Investors, one of the oldest and largest private equity firms in Central & Eastern Europe. He has served as Treasurer of the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, trustee and member of the investment committee of the Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System and on the commercial advisory board to the University of Oklahoma School of Computer Science. Mr. Martin is a graduate of Harvard University.

 

ADVISORY BOARD

ROB CORETZ

Mr. Coretz was most recently Chairman of Omni Air International, Inc., a U.S. 121 air carrier that provides long range international passenger charter service to major tour operators, cruise lines, foreign air carriers, the U.S. Department of Defense and foreign governments. Omni operates a fleet of Boeing 777s and 767s. Mr. Coretz co-founded Omni in 1993 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until 2007. He is also a principal of 10 Tanker Air Carrier, LLC, a company that operates DC10 tankers for aerial firefighting. He began his 25-year career in aviation at GATX/Airlog, where he managed the conversion of Boeing 747s to freighter configuration. Mr. Coretz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.
 

JOE CRAFT

Mr. Craft is Chairman, President and CEO of Alliance Resource Partners LP (NASDAQ: ARLP), a diversified natural resource company and the second-largest coal producer in the eastern United States. Alliance operates mining complexes in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, and West Virginia, sells coal principally to major domestic and international utilities and industrial users, and owns mineral interests in premier oil and gas producing regions. Mr. Craft currently serves on the board of BOK Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: BOKF) and holds many industry leadership positions. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky, and he is a graduate of the Senior Executive Program of the Alfred P. Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. 

HANS HELMERICH

Mr. Helmerich has been Chairman of Helmerich & Payne, Inc. since 2012. Previously, he served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer for 25 years. Helmerich & Payne (NYSE: HP) is the largest provider of land drilling services in the U.S. As of September 2021, the Company’s fleet included 236 land rigs in the U.S., 30 international land rigs and 7 offshore platform rigs. Mr. Helmerich is a board member of Coterra Energy, Inc. Prior board service includes Atwood Oceanics, Inc. from 1989 to 2017 and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company from 2006 to 2020. He graduated from Dartmouth College and completed Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development.
 

E.C. "KIP" RICHARDS

Mr. Richards has more than 40 years of management and operations experience with privately and publicly owned enterprises involved in real estate, transportation, manufacturing and distribution. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sooner Inc., a global distributor of tubular products with operations in the United States, Europe and Africa. Mr. Richards was previously responsible for the operations of businesses in light manufacturing and oil purchasing, transportation and reselling. He also has served as a Principal and Managing Director of a commercial real estate company comprising both developed shopping centers and undeveloped property. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.

KATHLEEN D. ROONEY

Ms. Rooney serves as President of Rooney Holdings, Inc., a privately-held investment company that specializes in commercial and civil construction, energy, and commercial real estate development. She is responsible for developing, directing, and managing the firm’s investment strategy and investment portfolio. She also serves as President of Rooney Properties, a Washington D.C.-area development company specializing in office, industrial and multi-family projects.  Ms. Rooney earned a Bachelor of Arts, Economics and History from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
